Miss Tanzania wawili, Happiness Millen Magese (2001) na Angela Damas (2002), wamejitokeza na kujitangaza wazi kuwa ni miongoni mwa mamilioni ya wanawake duniani wanaosumbuliwa na tatizo liitwalo ‘endometriosis’ ambalo huwafanya wapate maumivu makali wakati wa hedhi na pia kuwafanya wasiwe na uwezo wa kushika mimba. Tatizo hilo husababisha seli hai zinazounda mji wa mimba kukuwa/kuota nje ya mji wa mimba. “To all the ladies who have to live with the sufferings of endometriosis- May sharing our messages make us realize we are not alone, and may the sharing allow us to look for ways to help us live with less pain,” ameandika Angela Damas.

It took me 17 years of struggle ,12 surgeries ,blocked Fallopian tubes ,1digestive system surgery,1ovary failure ,1miscarriage and still in pains I don’t know when it will stop.For the help of @ritadominic awareness and padma Lakshimi my friends @funminewyork @byanakusophy @adhiamboml n my family . I’m able to come out today and say this “I wear Yellow for me and all women from all over the world who struggling with Endometriosis . It’s ok to talk about our menstrual pains .
